Take a direct bus from the airport to the city centre

You can be in the centre of Budapest in up to 40 minutes by direct bus from the airport. Take the 100E Airport Express to get to the city centre quickly and comfortably. From there, you can easily travel on to the Duna Arena to cheer for your favourites at the World Aquatics Swimming Championships.

From what age do children need to buy a ticket?

Children under age 6 can visit competitions free of charge, but they will have to share a chair with one of the parents/accompanying persons.

How long before the planned start of the event should i arrive?

We recommend arriving to Duna Arena at least 60 minutes (one hour) in advance before the planned start of the evening finals in order to comfortably go through security and ticket control before taking your assigned seats. In case of the morning heats, we kindly ask you to come at least 30-45 minutes before the start of the heats, the atmosphere of the World Championships is already amazing in the morning hours.

As a wheelchair guest/ disabled visitors, how do I buy a ticket?

Guests with disabilities are kindly requested to contact the official ticketing partner via e-mail info@eventim.hu in order to proceed with ticket purchase for the World Aquatics Swimming Championships (25m). Customer service will provide you with further details and assistance, look forward to welcoming you to our Event.

Are there tickets offering some kind of discount for students /pensioners?

There are no special tickets issued for students/pensioners for the World Aquatics Swimming Championships (25m), however our aim with the introduction of the 3 price categories and low-cost tickets was to contribute to the fact that the event is accessible for the widest possible audience. The only exception is through the “Sporting Nation Club Card”, please have a look at the Ticketing menu for further information.

Tickets were sold out for the session I wanted to go… What should I do?

Ticket sales for the World Aquatics Swimming Championships (25m) will start in the first half of August, but in two more phases there will be plenty more tickets for sale (for each and every session/final), so please return to our website/social media channels and check the latest ticketing status!

Is it necessary to print the e-tickets?

It is not necessary to print the tickets, if the e-tickets can be presented on your smartphone, and after the tickets have been scanned at the check-in point, entry is also allowed. For security reasons, we recommend that you keep the confirmation email of your purchase in your emailbox.

Are you allowed into the auditorium with a professional camera or video camera?

The use of professional cameras and video cameras at the World Aquatics World Short Course Swimming Championships venue is only subject to prior photographic accreditation, so you can only record images and/or sound with these devices as an accredited photographer or TV crew, only in the place designated for this purpose. The use of these devices is not allowed in the auditorium, their entry is prohibited!
